Ottomani Sangiovese Amphora IGT
The Ottomani Sangiovese Anfora IGT Toscana is a pure and unique expression of 100% Sangiovese, originating from the hills between Impruneta and Strada in Chianti, just south of Florence. What truly makes this wine special is its vinification: the wine is fully fermented and aged in terracotta amphorae, made from the same clay as the soil in which the grapes grow.
This ancient technique, dating back to Roman times, results in a wine that is extremely pure and terroir-driven. Thanks to spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention, the wine retains its natural energy, fresh acidity, and refined structure.
The result is an elegant and lively Sangiovese with red fruit, floral notes, and a mineral depth that directly reflects the Tuscan landscape.
