But what actually is the difference between a Superiore, a Classico and a Riserva? At Ottomani all three come from the same winery, so you taste that difference purely.

The Superiore is light and fresh, with cherries and violets. The Classico comes from Greve in Chianti and ages in concrete, so the fruit stays pure. The Riserva ages for 24 months in oak casks: a Riserva must age longer before it can be sold, and you taste that in its depth.

In the box

1 x Ottomani Chianti Superiore DOCG - 75 cl

1 x Ottomani Chianti Classico DOCG - 75 cl

1 x Ottomani Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG - 75 cl

How to taste them

Pour them side by side, from Superiore to Riserva, just below room temperature.
